BBC The Traitors star says 'I was robbed' after brutal exit

Tensions are starting to rise in The Traitors castle as the faithfuls continue their search to find out who among them is lying. Each episode, the remaining contestants have the chance to banish one person from the show in hopes of catching a traitor.

Last week, BBC viewers saw the likes of Linda, Alex and Leon leave the competition. Although they successfully got traitor Linda out of the show, they failed when it came to the other two.

Speaking about their brutal exit on Monday's Lorraine, Alex seemed less than impressed. Showing a clip of the moment he left the show, Alex commented: "Couldn't believe it, completely robbed!"

Although he confessed it was satisfying to tell the group he was a faithful and that they had got it wrong. Joining Alex on the sofa was Lisa, who shared her thoughts on being murdered by the traitors.

She told Lorraine it was complimentary to leave the show the way she did. Explaining what she meant, Lisa commented: "Being murdered is a kind of compliment, it means that you're getting close and they're obviously worried about you.

"So, you can take a sense of satisfaction in the fact that you think, 'Actually, they knew I was getting close and was onto them'. I'm taking it as a compliment!"

Despite leaving the show, which was filmed last year, the pair have remained close friends in the outside world with Lisa and Linda attending Alex's wedding.

Speaking about their bond, Alex detailed the high-pressure environment they were in and finding solace in one another.

He added: "We were just totally silly together and that was it, we connected and it was really special." Lisa said: "Alex reminds me of my boys in many ways, very similar sense of humour.

"So, we had that dry sense of humour where we'd look at things and just laugh, laughter would get you through an awful lot of tense moments."

Although Alex and Lisa's time in the castle is over, there are still nine people left in the competition, with Charlotte and Minah going undetected as traitors.

However, some fans are worried Charlotte may try and get the other faithfuls to banish Minah in order to be the last traitor standing in the final.

One person said: "Charlotte throwing Minah under the bus." Someone else commented: "Charlotte is really p*****g me off, she’s throwing Minah under the bus when there isn’t any need to."

Another wrote: "If Charlotte betrays our girl Minah I will riot!" While one viewer added: "If Charlotte gets Minah out, then I’d want the faithfuls to win."

The Traitors continues Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One from 9pm with Lorraine available weekdays on ITV from 9am.
