BBC Death in Paradise star Ralf Little 'mortified' after co-stars brand him 'liar'

Death in Paradise star Ralf Little was left feeling utterly "mortified" after his co-stars jokingly labelled him a "liar". The beloved star, who famously played DI Neville Parker in the show, found himself in a bit of a blush-worthy situation involving his Death In Paradise hoodie at St Pancras station on Saturday morning.

Recounting the situation to his fans on Instagram, Ralf said: "I went to the gym this morning and I put on this hoodie to keep me warm, it's a Death In Paradise cast and crew hoodie. "Now, I find myself in St Pancras station which wasn't the plan."

He then continued: "It is suddenly really mortifying to be walking around wearing your own show's hoodie. It is very kind of like, 'Ooh, notice me, notice me'." Initially having hoped to sneak under the radar, Ralf sheepishly admitted: "I have heard a couple of people go, 'It must be him, he is wearing Death In Paradise top'."

"That said, it is only a couple of people and no one else seems to give a toss. Clearly, I'm not a big deal," reports Birmingham Live.

The actor shared the hilarious episode with his Death In Paradise colleagues who ribbed him, suggesting he just wanted some attention.

He continued with an embarrassed laugh: "I just sent that to a few of my mates who worked on the show with me. They were like, 'Lies, you just wanted the attention'. That just makes it even worse because it didn't work."

Viewers were gripped as Ralf's character DI Neville Parker made an emotional exit from the popular drama in the recent series finale, leaving Saint Marie along with Florence Cassell. In a heartfelt goodbye video, Ralf called his time on the show a complete "privilege".

"It has been an absolute privilege and pleasure to bring Neville Parker to all of you and to share his really quite profound journey with you. I can't thank you all enough for the support over the last four-and-a-half years and as Neville heads off for new challenges and adventures and I head off for new challenges and adventures," he shared.
