BBC Casualty Rash’s shock new romance 'sealed' - and it's with unexpected colleague
BBC Casualty viewers are certain Rash Masum is set for a surprise new romance.
The beloved doctor (Neet Mohan) is a firm favourite in the long-running medical drama, making his debut in 2017. Since then, he’s played a part in several big storylines - from his dementia-stricken father’s death to suicide.
During Saturday’s episode (January 4) Rash’s day got off to a bad start when he turned up for his shift, only to run into surgeon and show newbie Sean Redmond (Seth Somers).
Sean ended up spilling a hot drink over Rash and dropped his new phone in the process. A fuming Sean then demanded Rash to fix his phone - with Rash refusing.

However, things took an awkward turn later on when it was revealed that Rash’s cousin, doctor Tariq Hussein (Manpreet Bachu) is pals with Sean and are flatmates.
Now, fans reckon it’s only a matter of time until Rash and newbie Sean get together. On Casualty’s Facebook fan page, one person penned: “Rash suddenly turns gay? Taking bets?”
Someone else wrote: “There is some serious tension between him and Sean.” A third also chimed in and agreed: “The new guy and Rash are going to become an item you heard it here first.”
Elsewhere on the episode, other fans were left cheering at their screens as Nicole Piper (Sammy T. Dobson) and Ngozi Okoye (Adesuwa Oni) finally got together.
Over the past two series, Nicole and Ngozi's friendship has blossomed - and in the latest instalment, they took their relationship to the next level.
Realising Ngozi is planning to leave Holby soon, Nicole admitted her feelings to Ngozi. Fortunately, Ngozi revealed she isn’t actually planning on leaving, and the pair ended up kissing.
“I'm glad Ngozi and Nicole finally got together,”said one person on X. Someone else penned: “I love Ngozi and Nicole together.” A third wrote: “Well that was much better than last week’s episode. Nicole and Ngozi at the end was just the best.”
