Tim Campbell is back on our screens every Thursday as The Apprentice returns for its 19th season. Tim is one of the show's biggest ever success stories and has come full circle since winning, now sitting around the boardroom table as an advisor to Lord Alan Sugar alongside Baroness Karen Brady.

The businessmen, 47, has been one of Lord Sugar's advisors since 2022, when he stepped in to replace Claude Littner, who now returns to the show for the interview stages. Tim won the first ever series of The Apprentice back in 2005, where he received a £100,000 job working as the project director of the new health and beauty division of Lord Sugar’s business Amstrad.

However, Tim left the business just two years later to found the Bright Ideas Trust, a charity which helps young people to set up their own businesses. Since winning the show, it has been estimated that Tim has built up a net worth of anywhere between £750,000 to £3.5 million.

In 2012, Tim was awarded an MBE for Enterprise Culture and currently runs his own digital marketing agency, Marketing Runner. He also co-authored one of the top 10 business books for 2010, What's Your Bright Idea?

He donates a significant portion of his earnings to charity, after suffering his own health scare. Tim was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2013 and has become a vocal supporter of Prostate Cancer UK. He explained: "I think it is important that if you are blessed you share those blessings with others. I suffered from testicular cancer years ago, so I saw the proverbial lights flash before my eyes. My biggest concern as I get older is prostate cancer. One in eight men get it and the odds are higher for black men: one in four. So I donate to Prostate Cancer UK, along with other health and education charities."

Tim lives in London with his wife Jasmine and the couple have two children together. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter. Speaking about what viewers have to look forward to in the new series, Tim said: "I think we've got some of the mainstays like the Interviews round and candidates going on tours around different countries. But I think what makes this really different is that the candidates, from the get-go, have been mixed up when it comes to the teams. It's really good that we’re making sure that inclusivity is right at the heart of what we're doing. I think the viewers are in for some treats along the way."

The Apprentice continues at 9pm on BBC One on Thursday, February 6.
