Which characters from Motherland are appearing in Amandaland?
While the whole cast of Motherland are not reuniting for Amandaland, there are some familiar faces in the new series. Snobby Amanda is still played by the Lucy Punch and also returning for the series is Philippa Dunne, playing the doting Anne.
Joanna Lumley is reprising her role as Amanda's mother, Felicity. It has not yet been confirmed if any of the other Motherland cast will make a shock appearance or cameo in the series. We'd love it if they did, though.
Speaking about the new series, Lucy said: "I was incredibly excited, surprised, and intrigued. Intrigued about where the writers thought the show and Amanda’s character could go, how it would look, and how it could maintain the tone and style of Motherland while doing something new."
