Ant McPartlin debuts incredible new tribute tattoo as he shares first baby picture
As he celebrates the birth of his son, Ant McPartlin has shared a touching picture of his tattoo that is a tribute to his wife Anne-Marie Corbett and her two daughters - Daisy and Poppy.
In the image, Ant's tattoo shows a huge blossoming tree with the names - Amzie (presumably for his wife of three years Anne-Marie), his two step daughters, Daisy and Poppy, and Ant's two pooches - Milo and Bumble.
Ant - who is step dad to Daisy and Poppy - has welcomed a beautiful baby boy with his wife of three years. The BGT host announced the news via social media with the caption: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!"
Celeb pals of Ant and Anne have raced to congratulate the couple. Davina McCall wrote: "Argggghhhhhhhhh!! This is AMAZING !!!! Congratulations to ALL of you".
It was rumoured earlier this year that the couple were expecting their first child together and, according to The Sun, a source previously commented on the baby news.
The said: “This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond delighted. It’s no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.
“When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible. To be having a child two years short of his 50th birthday, with the love of his life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant."
"He’s already a wonderful, doting father to Anne-Marie’s kids, and together they’re going to be brilliant parents to this latest addition to the family.”
And it appears that Britain's Got Talent host Ant had already confided in his best friend Declan Donnelly, 48, about the incredibly exciting news. Anne-Marie, 46, already has two children from a previous marriage, but Ant has reportedly always wanted to be a dad.
Ant was married to make-up artist Lisa Armstrong for 11 years but, in 2017, they announced their split. After their marriage ended, Ant started dating Anne-Marie, who worked at the same management company as best friend Declan Donnelly's wife, Ali Astall, for ten years. Anne-Marie had separated from her husband, the father of her two children just a few months before Ant's divorce was finalised.
In an interview with The Sun, Ant said that neither he nor Anne-Marie were looking for love when they grew closer: "We were going through turmoil. It was the last thing on either of our minds to get into a relationship. But there we were like 'This felt so good, why deny it.'"
