Amazon Prime Day 2019 kicks off today, Monday 15 July, with online shoppers scoring some unmissable discounts across the retail site.

The 48-hour shopping event, created for the benefit of Amazon Prime members, is a bargain bonanza like no other – and some of the best deals are available for Amazon and Amazon-compatible technology such as voice-activated Echo devices and Fire TV technology.

On the lookout for a new Kindle? All the latest generation devices are available, whether you want to snap up a budget Kindle Paperwhite for £79.99 (reduced from £119) or, if you have a love of reading in the bath, invest in a waterproof Kindle Oasis (Reduced from £319.99 to £249.99).

You can also snap up a Fire 7” Tablet for just £39.99, or bump up your home security with an Amazon Alexa-enabled Ring Video Doorbell at the discounted price of £119.

You must be an Amazon Prime member in order to take part in Prime Day – but if you haven’t signed up already, don’t worry.
