Amanda Holden reunites with sitcom co-stars as they celebrate 20th anniversary
Amanda Holden delighted her 2.2 million Instagram fans after she posted two snaps of her recent reunion with her former sitcom co stars.
The 53 year old starred in the BBC programme, Cutting It, way back in 2002, a series that followed the personal lives, romances, and dramas of a Manchester based hair salon team. The sitcom - which is coming up to its 20th anniversary - also cast recognisable names such as Angela Griffin, Sarah Parish, Jason Merrells, Siân Reeves and Ben Daniels, and ran for four seasons.
Amanda's post comes after she spent some time with two of the show's stars - Angela and Sarah - as well as other famous faces including Lisa Faulkner, Tamzin Outhwaite and Nicola Stephenson. The Britain's Got Talent star accompanied the sweet images with the inspirational caption: "The best team of women - Couldn't live without these girls. Celebrating life in general…"
The first snap in the carousel - which had a stunning pink and white rose backdrop - was a selfie clearly orchestrated by Amanda. The actor was bent down and nestled in the middle of the group, as her hand extended to her phone to take the shot.
Donning a blue and white vintage floral dress complete with thin straps, a V neckline, and a puffball skirt, Amanda - who has recently landed her 'dream job' - paired the summery look with some white pointed heels. She also wore her long honey blonde hair down, straight and parted in the middle, while opting for a natural makeup look consisting of a touch of blush, a smokey eye, a nude lip and perfectly sculpted brows.
The second shot showed the girl gang all standing in a line and beaming in front of another exquisite floral display. Amanda's co star Sarah looked unreal in a black wraparound dress and beige boots, while Angela opted for a mix of glam and casual - wearing a gold metallic midi skirt, a cream bomber jacket and a pair of trainers.
After posting the wholesome photos to her grid, plenty of Amanda's fans took to the comments section to gush over the Cutting It reunion - and to compliment the group of friends, respectively.
"What a girl gang," one fan enthused, as a second penned: "Not me thinking this was the Spice Girls."
"Women supporting women," a third typed, while a fourth fan said: "It's so lovely that you've all supported each other over the years and remained such wonderful friends in such a competitive industry. Such a beautiful example of female success and friendship."
