Alison Hammond snuggles up to Russian masseur as they pack on PDA at the zoo
Alison Hammond couldn't contain her smile as she was pictured snuggling up to her Russian masseur boyfriend David Putman as the pair enjoyed a romantic date on Friday.
Alison, 49, has been linked to the 6ft 10in Russian masseur, who is believed to be around 20 years her junior, after allegedly booking in for a £150 massage last year.
According to The Sun, Alison would regularly book in for massages with David in between her busy filming schedule. Having formed a friendship, soon romance blossomed and the pair reportedly began dating towards the end of 2023.
Then on Friday, April 19, the loved-up pair seemingly embraced their relationship status as they enjoyed a romantic trip to Port Lympne Zoo in Kent together.
In photos, the This Morning presenter lovingly wrapped her arm around David, who is known to have trained as a body therapist, and boasts a range of skills including "classic, lymphatic drainage, anti-cellulite, wraps, facial massage," and gazed at him with a huge smile across her face.
David drove the pair around the Lion Lodge at the zoo in a golf cart while Alison took the opportunity to snuggle up to her hunky new beau.
Then when the pair got out to explore the giraffe enclosure, they walked in sync with their arms wrapped around each other and David even shot a friendly wave towards the photographer.
Alison opted for a casual chic ensemble for the romantic date, wearing jeans and an oversized khaki coat to keep her warm while David also looked stylish in a trench coat paired with green chinos.
Both Alison and David appeared enamoured by one another as they cosied together with huge grins and snuggled close on the crisp spring day.
Davis is believed to be around two decades younger than Alison, and is both a aspiring model and dancer.
Alison, who has been sharing a rare glimpse into her romantic life, has also been seen commenting on David's social media posts as she left a love heart eye emoji on one of his recent uploads. Alison was dating her 'hunky' gardener Ben Hawkins until last year.
David originally hails from Krasnodar but opted to leave Russia and relocated to the UK in December 2022, The Sun previously reported.
He wanted to escape the front line following President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Russia has a conscription army and in September 2022 declared a partial mobilisation of military reservists. Hundreds of thousands of young men have since been called up for military service.
David is said to be "not bothered by fame" and would not be concerned about the 23-year age gap between him and Alison.
A pal told The Sun: "David is a very quiet, unassuming and thoughtful person who likes to play the guitar. He’s the strong, silent type, not a pushover, but not chatty like Alison."
They continued: "In that sense they’re perfect for each other and to David age is just a number. He’s not bothered by fame, he probably didn’t even know who Alison was when they first met."
Alison has occasionally opened up about her personal life over the years. On an episode of Gyles Brandreth's podcast Rosebud released last year, she confessed: "I absolutely love my own company. I have no problem being on my own, in fact, I really quite like it.
"I think that's the reason why I struggle in some relationships because I don't want somebody around me all the time. I actually love being on my own. I'm okay with it. I've never felt lonely."
