If you've been on TikTok or IG in the past few years, you know that a penis cake and plastic tiara may no longer cut it when celebrating your favorite bride-to-be. These days, many are going above and beyond the "girls' night out"bachelorette parties of yore in favor of multi-day, mini vacations. In other words: we've entered the era of the destination bachelorette party, and I don't think that's changing anytime soon (for better or for worse).
Personally, I love a bachelorette-cation. I can't get enough of seeing new places. I also love that, in 2025, bachelorette parties are less about having a wild, barely memorable night at a club and more about reconnecting with your friend group and building new memories together—preferably in a dreamy location. Yes, it can be more expensive to travel than to just grab drinks at your local dive bar, but if you're down (and financially able) to skip town, cheap drinks simply can’t compete with globetrotting in the name of love.
So, scroll down and you'll see my picks for the best places to have a bachelorette trip in 2025. I did the hard work for you, traveling the world and scouring the internet to bring you the most fun spots to hang with your bride squad. From the classics (looking at you, Nashville) to the wild cards (private casita in Nicaragua, anyone?) and all the hotspots in between, here are the 24 most exciting bachelorette destinations of 2025 that will get the entire bridal party looking for their passports.
Koh Samui, Thailand
I mean, why not let White Lotus pick your bachelorette location? The new season (out February 16th!) will take place in Thailand—which is now visa-free for Americans for up to 60 days—and most was filmed around the dreamy island of Koh Samui.
The cast stayed at the pricey Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, but your crew can (and should) split one of these luxe villas that average $1,000 per night (split it 12 ways and it’s basically the price of a Comfort Inn). Take a cooking class, jet-ski your way to Pig Island, explore the Na Muang Waterfall, have brunch near the Ta Nim Magic Garden, or just chill on the many gorgeous beaches around this area. You can't go wrong.
Ljubljana, Slovenia
This central European city—often called “Little Paris”—definitely has the charm and beauty of the famous French capital, but with a super Slovenian (and less expensive) twist. In the summer, bars and cafés trickle out onto the sidewalks the closer you get to Presernov Trg (the main square), transforming the city into a street party that lasts until the early hours.
Stay close to the river to be near the action by booking a few terrace suites at The Hotel Ljubljana, or an entire rowhouse at the AB Ljubljana Princess Castle Triplex. You’ll be close to some of the country’s top restaurants, like Altrokè and Restavracija Strelec, so tell the gang to bring their appetites. Slovenians also have amazing style, and vintage shops are everywhere (I'm obsessed with Divas Vintage Store!), but just strolling the cobbled streets at the base of Castle Hill is a great way to experience that old-school European charisma.
Moab, Utah
Don’t tell the hikers, but you don’t even have to be outdoorsy to enjoy a bachelorette party in Moab. In fact, you don’t even need to own a hiking hat—but you should definitely cop one (and other cute desert accessories) while shopping at Indigo Alley. If you and your friends are into hiking, Moab’s got you covered with tons of trails throughout Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, as well as backcountry driving tours to keep your adrenaline pumping.
Spa mornings and pool afternoons are perfectly acceptable ways to chill in the red rocks, though, and there are always yoga classes and crystal sound baths happening around town. I highly recommend glamping at ULUM Moab (don't worry, you won't be roughing it), where they have fun activities like Mocktology workshops, s’mores after sunset, jewelry-making classes, and live music to help ease you into the "get outside" lifestyle. Oh, and when you need some fuel, check out Birdy’s Finer Diner for cocktails and Más Café for cold brew and sourdough cookies.
St. Tropez, France
What could be better than a bachelorette surrounded by sweet friends, swanky yachts, glitzy beach clubs, and chilled magnums of rosé? Book this villa if you plan to stay for a week, otherwise, the nautical-themed AREV St Tropez hotel is amazing, and one of the only year-round hotels in the area. They have an “ask-and-you-shall-receive” mentality, which is especially nice when you want Champagne delivered for your group in the hammam or to charter a boat to cruise the Mediterranean Sea all afternoon.
You should definitely take advantage of all the attractions around the Provencal village, too. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days at the Place des Lices, where you can score great deals on things like linen pants, hand-woven baskets, spices, and swimsuits. Then, book an early lunch and wine tasting on the terrace at Fondugues Pradugues winery before lounging beneath a parasol at the chic Shellona beach club, where you can expect daytime DJ sets and amazing vibes. By night, take a page from Beyonce’s book and party with the A-listers at VIP Room St Tropez, or chill with Asian-inspired cocktails at Le Tigrr.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam is turning 750 years old in 2025, and there’s an energy buzzing around the city that’s even more Amsterdam-y than ever. When you visit, be sure to check out Amsterdam-Noord, an artsy neighborhood outside most of the tourist zones, where the insiders hang out. There’s always something cool going on at Café de Ceuvel (i.e., dockside concerts, yoga, digital detox hangouts, etc.), including boats you can rent for your entire group. The grungy-chic club Garage Noord stays open until 8 a.m., so there’s really no reason to sleep, but if you must, I recommend staying at Bunk Amsterdam, located inside the old St. Rita church.
Other must-visits? The STRAAT museum, for graffiti and street art that will inspire the gals to get creative; the floating sauna (and private barrel saunas) at Badhus, for a little rejuvenation; and wine bar/restaurant/waterside cinema FC Hyena, where you'll find chill vibes for miles. Trust me, there's nothing quite like this city.
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California
This coastal California town is straight out of a storybook—adorable libraries, friendly faces, twinkly lights, and all. Host your bachelorette in this actual fairytale cottage (that was once a hangout for Hollywood elites!) or book a few rooms at the French-chic hotel Le Pali on 8th Ave, where breakfast comes with complimentary Champagne.
You'll definitely want to rent a car or party bus for a relaxing afternoon hitting the sauna circuit at Refuge Spa before getting sunset drinks at Nepenthe out in Big Sur (worth the drive, trust me!). But make sure to spend time in town, too: Carmel-by-the-Sea is crawling with hidden alcoves filled with bookstores, cafés, boutiques, and wine-tasting rooms, so go ahead and wander around in between whale-watching trips and sunbathing at Carmel Beach.
Algarve, Portugal
This winemaking region is the perfect place for your #OneLastSyrah (had to, sorry). Europeans love flocking to Portugal’s Golden Triangle—comprised of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, and Almancil—for its whitewashed villages, awesome nightlife, secret beaches (the well-known ones are pretty great, too, though), sea caves, fresh seafood, and, of course, super posh vibes.
When it comes to where to stay, Pine Cliffs Village will take good care of you and your crew in their suites and private villas. If you love the idea of a private home, definitely peruse the Home Holidays site, where you'll find properties with plenty of space to spread out and chill by your private pool after a day of wine tasting in the hills.
Emerald Coast, Nicaragua
Wave chasers already know that Nicaragua has amazing beaches—the Emerald Coast is famous for its consistently warm weather and amazing surfing conditions—but it's time everyone learned about this hidden gem. More flights than ever are going to and from this South American outpost, and a short shuttle will bring your group from the airport to the sand.
For accommodations, peep Rancho Santana (with private villas, condos, and casitas) or Hide & Seek Resort in Popoyo. For activities, book surf lessons or group yoga sessions, then spend time appreciating Nicaragua’s sunny beaches and holistic spas (treatments like reiki massages and cocoa facials are a fraction of the price they would be back home!). For wholesome vibes, be sure to end at least one day by watching sea turtles hatch at the sanctuary on Playa Escondida. Talk about a core memory.
Highlands, North Carolina
This is the kind of Hallmark-movie-esque town where you might attend the local barn dance and accidentally fall for the flannel-shirt-wearing coffeeshop owner who moved back home from the big city to save the family farm. Whether that's your dream come true or not, the Appalachian charm and outdoor opportunities here will definitely keep your crew entertained while in town. Plus, there are plenty of cute wine bars and breweries worthy of your nights out—just stay away from anyone in flannel.
There's no shortage of historic inns and adorable vacation rentals around town, but my favorite is The Outpost Inn. It gives chic summer camp vibes, with vintage vinyls playing in the coffee/wine bar, and DIY s’mores kits on the patio. It makes the perfect low-key spot to stay before going out for a day of fun. Speaking of: If you can only pick one waterfall to visit, make it Bridal Veil Falls (for obvious reasons), but I also like Dry Falls because you can walk behind it without getting wet, as the name implies. And if you can only pick one art gallery, make it The Bascom, where you can sign up for a group class.
Los Cabos, Mexico
Are fish tacos, tequila, and gorgeous beaches your thing? You're probably a prime candidate for a Baja bachelorette. There are some ridiculously luxe villas to rent if your group wants privacy, or some Olivia Ponton-approved suites at the ME Cabo by Meliá if you want to make a bigger splash.
You’ll need to rent a boat to get close enough for a pic with El Arco de Cabo San Lucas (the region’s IG-famous landmark), but just about everything else will be an easy taxi, walk, or Uber away. Check out the beach clubs, of course, but know that you can't go wrong rotating between the beach, pool, and taco stand day in and day out.
Bozeman, Montana
Bachelorette, but make it cowboy core! This Rocky Mountain college town comes fully loaded with Western authenticity and start-up sophistication...plus there are hot springs! Ride some horses if you must (you must), or catch a rodeo, but don’t let anyone in your party leave without a touch of western flare, like matching hats from Bang Bang or cute boots from Carter’s.
You can live out all your Yellowstone fantasies at a luxe Bozeman villa near the hot springs, or just head straight to the rooftop bar after checking in at the Kimpton Armory Hotel (which loans out Gibson guitars). Your Saturday night plans include line dancing lessons after stuffing yourself with barbecue food at Bourbon MT, then putting those dancing skills to use over in Gateway at Stacey’s, a legit honky-tonk.
Venice, Italy
Venice is more than its masked parties and gondola rides. In my opinion, the Italian city is best seen from the rooftops, beaches (yes, there are beaches in Venice!), and lesser-known lagoons and hidden canals, where the locals live. Plan to visit during the “offseason” (November through May) to avoid major crowds, and stay at an apartment or hotel in the city to avoid the day-tripper tax while also supporting local businesses.
Check out the Ca’ di Dio resort, right between Saint Marks’s Square and the Arsenale area, with a four-person suite and a rooftop terrace just begging for Aperol spritzes and fritto misto in bathrobes (I can see the IG Stories already). The bar there is likely where the gang will want to be at night anyway—that, or swanky cocktail lounge Skyline—and they can help guide you to the good markets, teach you where to blow your own glass souvenirs, and book you a water limousine for a super sciccoso (definition: chic) way to cruise the canals.
Boise, Idaho
Never underestimate Boise. This exceptionally cool capital city has college-town vibes, a wine region just outside the city limits, and a bit of Western twang that keeps things interesting. For accommodations, check everyone into a sweet villa with a wine barrel sauna, or get a few quadruple rooms at the new SPARROW hotel in the heart of downtown.
A perfect day looks like renting a fleet of rafts to float the day away on Quinn’s Pond (SUP yoga classes are available, too!) before buying a flight of burgers at Art House Cocktail Bar and sharing pintxos at Basque Market. Dancing at Space Banana micro-club is also a must, as is café hopping around Boise’s buzzy 8th Street. But if you'd rather just sit around and drink vino, Snake River Wine Tours will take your group to the dreamy wine trails, or you can book a private tasting at House of Wine, a woman-led wine shop in town.
Barcelona, Spain
An entire city of night owls and people who plan their day around what they’re eating and/or drinking? Yeah, Barcelonians are the right kind of people. The whole Catalonian area was picked as the World Region of Gastronomy for 2025, which basically just means you'll find more wine tastings, more markets, more festivals, and more reasons to be there with your squad this year.
Nights don’t get started until late—after the tapas crawl, IYKYK—so check in to a penthouse suite at the Hotel Arts Barcelona so you’re close to all the clubs and even closer to the best beaches, where you'll wanna go as soon as you wake up. For everything else—like the Sagrada Familia (the famous Gaudi landmark), Mercat de la Boqueria (one of the world’s best food markets), and El Born (a super trendy neighborhood known for cafés and boutiques)—it’s easy to walk or have the hotel book a shuttle.
New Orleans, Louisiana
If a city can host a Superbowl, it can sure as hell handle a bachelorette. This year, NOLA is taking on its eighth NFL championship—and, I dunno, millionth bachelorette party?—because it's a classic for a reason. Not just because of its lenient open-container laws, either—there's incredible food, great bars (of both the classy and dive varieties), gorgeous architecture, and so much history.
If you want to stay in the middle of all the action, check out The Eliza Jane, from Hyatt's Unbound Collection. Or there's the iconic French Quarter Mansion (yes, the “Uneeda Biscuit” building you might have seen on IG!), which has suites that can sleep up to eight. You can also rent the entire mansion, and if that's in budget, definitely go for it—if only because it's a few blocks away from the world-famous beignets at Café Du Monde.
Ho Chih Minh City, Vietnam
Ho Chih Minh City is wild. But not just “crazy nightlife” wild— honestly, the wildest part of this massive city is how well it manages to have that old-world-meets-new-world feel. There are still street vendors selling hand-made noodles (and don't get me started on the banh-mi carts!), but also trendy stores, like Fancì Club, where you and your friends can cop a wearable souvenir or two.
If your group wants a rooftop pool (duh), stay at the Fusion Original Saigon Centre. Or, get easy access to the famous rooftop Saigon Saigon Bar by booking rooms at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel. A street food walking tour is a must (or just hit Propaganda Bistro for the freshest spring rolls ever), but you can also day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels for a history lesson or book a private tour of the Cai Rang Floating Market to shop from vendors via boat (be sure to take a break for a memorable koi fish foot massage). Wherever you spend the day, find a way to end up at Bui Vien Street—that's where that wild nightlife comes back into play.
New York, New York
The city that never sleeps also never disappoints. Here, you and your squad will have everything at your fingertips, surrounded by the world’s top restaurants, incredible nightlife, and more attractions than you ever be able to visit in one lifetime.
My advice? Pop some Champagne in a floating hot tub on a Sea the City Hot Tub Boat Tour to get things started, then carefully map out your route between Broadway plays and rooftop bars to include as many “OMG, [insert movie title or TV show] was filmed here” locations. The Lower East Side’s Sixty LES has an awesome rooftop pool and spacious rooms if you're looking to stay close to the bar scene, but the William Vale in Williamsburg is also a winner for its incredible views of the city and outdoor barrel saunas during the winter.
Sydney, Australia
If anyone in the bridal party balks at the 15+ hour flight to get Down Under, just remind them of the koalas. And the kangaroos. And the cute locals. Australians are the kings/queens of having fun, and a bachelorette party in the country’s capital city is the ultimate bachelorette move. I mean, what's not to love? It's got great beaches, an amazing coffee culture (get a flat white at Pablo and Rusty’s!), fresh seafood towers galore, buzzing nightlife, and, oh yeah, did I mention the koalas yet?
Get a drink at the Opera Bar at some point during your trip, book a harbor cruise, and brave the BridgeClimb Sydney if you and your crew are feeling daring. The QT Sydney hotel has all the bachelorette vibes (without any of the kitschiness, promise), but you should also check out some of the villas near Bondi Beach if you're all about sun and sand.
Nashville, Tennessee
Good news: Your Nashelorette party (I'll see myself out) couldn’t have come at a better time. This year, the Grand Ol Opry turns 100, which means huge artists will be in town and you can expect more concerts than ever (and it’s freaking Nashville, so that’s saying a lot). You can even find accommodations with a musical spin: book this Era Tour’s inspired rental home, or fall asleep on Music Row at the new Hotel Fraye, which has a rooftop pool and daily brunch.
Beyond that, live music, line dancing, and southern food abound here (get the hot chicken at Hattie B's), so embrace all of the above before boutique shopping in the 12South neighborhood. Start by checking out Reese Witherspoon’s store Draper James, move to Imogene +Willie for the perfect pair of jeans, then finish at Hart, where you can make custom wedding-ready jewelry.
La Paz, Bolivia
The highest capital city in the world is a lofty choice for your bachelorette, in all the best ways. Think: you and your bride tribe sipping coca tea and singani (a Bolivian brandy) before shopping for souvenirs at the Mercado de las Brujas and taking a day trip out to see the Valley of the Moon (just Google it). Oh, and you'll want to catch the cable car up to El Alto to watch the fierce female wrestlers (cholitas) compete.
Need a spot to stay? There’s an infinity pool and Jacuzzi inside 591 Bar on top of the Atix Hotel, so that's obviously a must. The vibey Socialtel La Paz also has a yoga deck and dorm-style rooms so your whole party can bunk up together in the funky Sopacachi neighborhood.
Marfa, Texas
Austin and Dallas get all the hype, but this little West Texas gem is more than capable of hosting a big bash of a bach. Artists and celebrities love this little town, and you will too the second you see all the art installations and taste all the amazing restaurants in the middle of the desert.
A perfect day: Grabbing a Marfa Burrito, snaping a pic in front of Prada Marfa (which you've def seen on IG), and then sipping on spirits at the town's new craft distillery. For accommodation, your group can choose between trailers, teepees, yurts, or tents at El Cosmico, or just book this entire renovated motel, which comes with its own private kitchen and firepit.
Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
If you like to be on the water, BVI needs to be on your bachelorette radar ASAP. Some of the best experiences here happen out at sea, including a floating spa, a floating bar, and even a floating pizzeria, so plan to bring your best bathing suit and bounce between 'em all.
To keep the theme going, book a four-bedroom catamaran—which comes with a captain and private chef!—if you want to sleep, sail, and celebrate in the same space, or simply book a boat for the day if you want to do a little island hopping. FYI, Virgin Gorda is where most of the nightlife happens, and where most of the luxury hotels and private villas can be found, so know you'll be on the right island for fun.
Washington, D.C.
From giant pandas at the National Zoo to WorldPride festivities in June, there’s so much going on in D.C. this year (besides the obvious). And believe it or not, our nation’s capital serves up history and culture on a bachelorette-friendly plate, with boozy brunches and rooftop bars (some with karaoke!) galore, and so many once-in-a-lifetime attractions.
You could spend a full day exploring the museums (I love the National Museum of Women in the Arts), or skip the learning for a BYOB booze cruise on the Potomac. (Pro tip: grab a few bottles from woman-owned Republic Restoratives Distillery before boarding.) If drinking isn't your thing, head to Binge Bar (D.C.’s first non-alcoholic bar) for some sober sips before eating dinner at River Club, located amongst the cute boutiques in Georgetown. At the end of the night, you can check into The Watergate Hotel, which offers interconnecting rooms and an awesome rooftop bar, or Hotel Zena in Logan Circle, another cool choice for bird's-eye views.
Stockholm, Sweden
Stylish waterfront restaurants, picturesque cobblestone streets, and a thriving sauna culture all make Stockholm a worthy contender for your bachelorette party. Any time of year is beautiful in this capital city, but take my advice and try to time it around the Midsummer Festival, in June. Maypoles, flower crowns, and 24 hours of daylight are just the beginning. DJ sessions, street parties, and incredibly happy Swedes round out the rest.
The city’s beaches and public bathhouses are great ways to get in the water, but water taxi tours complete with Champagne are my favorite way to be on the water. And it’s not hard to see why celebrities love Ett Hem Hotel (it's the definition of Scandi-chic), but I'm also into the Pippi Longstocking-esque vibes this houseboat gives off near the Fotografiska Museum of Photography.
