Benetti’s Custom New 220-Foot Superyacht Is Designed to Keep the Whole Family Entertained

Of course, superyachts have interior designers, but how often is a creative the owner of the vessel they worked on?

That’s the case aboard Benetti’s Kasper 7, a custom 220-footer that is owned by Nisrine Karagulla, who dreamed up the superyacht’s interiors to make a welcoming home on the high seas. And the hard work paid off: The Benetti just won Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts over 500 GT (as well as Best Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yachts) at the 2025 Design and Innovation Awards.

Throughout Kasper 7’s interiors, you’ll find neutral hues with pops of color—think pink walls, yellow awnings and decor, and pastel furnishings—warm teak flooring, and plenty of light streaming in from outside. Above all, Karagulla aimed to create a space for socializing onboard, one where you could truly connect with friends and family while on the water; every design choice on the superyacht went back to that mission. So you won’t find a swimming pool here (and only one TV, for that matter), allowing the focus to remain on spending time with guests onboard.

To make sure those visitors had plenty of room and better service, Kasper 7 offers up five cabins for two owners and eight guests. That’s one stateroom less than similar-sized yachts, which adds up to more space for the other cabins. Each accommodation has its own design scheme, with artwork and furnishings making each space its own. The main suite, meanwhile, has large windows overlooking the sea as well as a roomy ensuite. There are also 11 cabins for up to 19 crew onboard. Elsewhere, the guests will have plenty of relaxation space indoors, thanks to an expansive main lounge.

On the exterior, Benetti tapped Giorgio Maria Cassetta yacht design to bring its vision to life, with a striking, elongated profile. Across its six decks, you’ll find spacious dining areas, a bar, and plenty of plush couches for lounging in style. And if anyone wants to get some movement in, they could head to the gym on the bridge deck, where they can still take in plenty of ocean views.

As for stats, Kasper 7 has an impressive top speed of 16 knots, and a lower friendly cruise speed, a 5,000-nautical-mile transatlantic range, thanks to its two 1,350-hp Caterpillar engines. That’s plenty of grunt to carry this stylish superyacht wherever Karagulla wants to roam.
