On your bike! William and Kate's cycling honeymoon

Royal honeymooners Prince William and Kate are getting around the Seychelles under their own steam, having reportedly refused the offer of posh electric golf buggies to tour the paradise island - and will go sightseeing around the Seychelles on two old bikes, instead.

The down-to-earth royal couple will explore their personal paradise island on two wheels side by side.

And the Duke is set to catch fish for their meals, as the couple enjoy a hands-on back-to-nature getaway.

The couple will be completely alone, with the exception of a handful of staff.

A source told the Mirror: 'William wants Kate to be completely relaxed and for it to be just the two of them. This is the perfect place.

'They hope to turn off their mobiles, shut out the modern world and reflect. This will be the ultimate relaxing break for them.'

Seychelles tourism minister Alain StAnge said he was 'delighted' with the couple's arrival, but wasn't naming the island they had jetted to.

He added: 'They will want some peace and quiet and there couldn't be a better place for them to find it.'

The newlywed royal couple flew to the main airport in the Seychelles on a private jet from their home in Angelsey this week. They then took a helicopter to a private island where they'll put their feet up in a luxury villa.
