Delta Goodrem seen for first time amid 'disgusting' Brian McFadden claims
Delta Goodrem has made her first public appearance since surprising new claims about her and ex Brian McFadden were aired.
The Australian singer, 39, performed three hits for a crowd of 1,000 in Melbourne, at an event named Brekky In The Burbs. Smiling as she took to the stage, 00s fave Delta looked effortlessly chic in a grey jacket, accessorised with chunky gold hoop earrings.
This marks the first time she's been seen out and about since Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands made some eyebrow-raising claims about her romance with her former Westlife fiance. He alleged that he witnessed the couple "spit" into each other's mouths, adding: "They'd just spit in each other's mouths and giggle."
"I was like... 'you're in my lounge room what's going on here'... it was like Travis Barker and [Kourtney] Kardashian." Fans took to social media to brand the revelation 'disgusting'.

Delta and Brian's romance began back in 2004 when he asked her to collaborate on the song, Almost Here. At the time, the Westlife star was still married to Kerry Katona, with whom he shares daughters Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21, reports the Mirror.
However, while the pair were still married they had already separated at that point, with this being the inspiration behind the song. They then divorced in 2006.
Brian then found a new flame with Delta, and popped the question a year after his divorce from Kerry in 2007. He and Delta then split four years later, before making it down the aisle.
Since then, former Atomic Kitten Kerry has suggested that things could have turned out quite differently had she not joined Loose Women and agreed to accompany Brian to the studio.
She recalled: "It was always my Brian this and that, and then one day Brian said to me, 'I'm recording a new single with someone called Deltra Goodrem- come with me', and I was like 'I can't come I'm on Loose Women'. Imagine if I didn't I'd still be married..." She honestly admitted: "If someone falls out of love with you there's nothing you can do."
Following his relationship with Delta, Brian tied the knot with Vogue Williams in 2012 however they divorced three years later. He is now dating PE teacher Danielle Parkinson, with whom he welcomed daughter Ruby in 2021.
Meanwhile, Delta is engaged to guitarist and ATLED Records Vice President Matthew Copley. Prior to this she dated Jonas Brothers singer Nick Jonas briefly when he was a teenager before they called time on their short-lived romance in 2012.
