A former Catholic school student says she feels “empowered” working for an all-female porn production company - after never getting any sex education. Cat Gately, 30, says she had to rely on her mum to “fill in the blanks” growing up, which inspired her to become a remote sex educator herself. She taught for free on social media and Zoom before she saw a social media marketer vacancy for Ersties - a small, woman-led porn production company - and decided to go for it. Cat says their films show “beautiful, magical sex” - they include chats about consent and boundaries, as well as “woman-dominated BDSM and anal”.
