A woman has shared her inspiring journey of losing five stone in just six months. Teags, also known on TikTok as @teags.weightloss, says a method you can easily find on Google helped her do it.

This training, nutrition, and fat loss specialist has also revealed her day-to-day eats to maintain her now slim and strong figure. The mum regularly takes to TikTok to post advice and pointers for others looking to lose weight.

Explaining how she weight loss journey began, Teags said she felt like 'giving up' in 2022 - a year and a half after giving birth. She reached 16 stone and four pounds with her waist measuring at 38 inches.

It was at this point Teags was determined to change. Fast-forward to today, she flaunts a stunning figure after dropping to 11 stone and five pounds last year, and her waist now 28 inches.

Teags currently maintains what she considers a "happy" weight of around 11 stone and four pounds. At 5ft-9inches, she says there's no one-size-fits-all solution for weight loss; however, what worked for her marvellously was a calorie deficit strategy, as reported by the Mirror.

Eating fewer calories than your body burns creates what's known as a calorie deficit. By doing so, you force your body to tap into its stored energy, leading to weight loss.

Teags demonstrates through her own experience how a simple method can lead to significant results. Explaining what she did, she said: "There are a lot of calorie deficit calculators out there... they will put you in some form of calorie deficit that is lower than your maintenance calories."

Delving into the nitty-gritty of her approach, she shared the simple but effective steps that guided her impressive transformation. She added: "But it all depends on how big a deficit you want to be in and how quickly you want to lose the weight and be able to maintain that.

"So personally for me, the one I stuck to was the James Smith calorie calculator." But even without meticulous calorie counting, Teags says it's possible to enjoy wholesome foods while still shedding pounds.

In an informative video, Teags listed her daily meal line-up, giving her followers a glimpse into her dietary habits two years beyond the start of her slimming escapade. "I can't believe how quickly the time has gone!" She said.

Her regimen is evidently working wonders as she confides: "I've been maintaining my weight since January 2023 and because I took my journey slow and consistent I've learned how to keep the weight off."

Expressing her daily diet details, Teags shared a video of what she often eats. In the clip, she began with coffee, followed by nourishing tuna and avocado toast.

A treat came in the form of a mini chocolate roll snack. She continued her wholesome eating with crispy chicken strips with rice and broccoli for dinner. She finished off with chocolate ice cream for dessert.

In her quest to sustain a balanced lifestyle, Teags ensures she walks at least 10,000 steps a day. Highlighting another day's menu in a different clip, Teags confessed to skipping breakfast due to time constraints but later savoured a satisfying lunch of a sweet chilli chicken wrap, snacked on a Babybel and a healthy blueberry fibre bar.

For an afternoon pick-me-up, she enjoyed slices of kiwi, indulged in a doughnut, and sipped on a coffee from Costa. For her evening meal, she whipped up a homemade chicken burger and chips.

Following this, she enjoyed a pot of protein yoghurt. To round off the day, she clocked in an impressive 25,000 steps.
