Winter Glow: The Illuminators You Should Be Including In Your Morning Routine
This season, we’ve had something of a revelation on the Yahoo Beauty desk.
A bit tired of dull skin and totally envious of all the gorgeous, glowing looks we saw so recently backstage at London Fashion Week, we were determined to find a way to give our faces a boost.
That being said, as the coming season’s look is all about fresh-faced natural beauty, we were keen to do so in a way that didn’t involve caking our faces in way too many products.
Enter our new BFF, the illuminator. Illuminators, highlighters and strobe creams are all about bringing a bit of zing and sparkle to our faces, but where traditionally we would have applied them only sparingly, to the brow bone and to the top line of our cheeks, we decided to test out a new technique.
We’ve been mixing them into our face cream and base foundations, as part of a new morning routine, and applying them over the entire face.
The results have been really rather marvellous!
