Wife of Strictly Come Dancing star says 'even more excited that we’ve got you back' as they mark milestone

For many celebrities Strictly Come Dancing is more than just the series as after the show finishes airing on BBC One they embark on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour. This sees the celebrities and professional dancers take Strictly on the road across the UK in a tour that takes around a month.

Now the wife of a Strictly Come Dancing celebrity has said "even more excited that we’ve got you back" as she marks the end of the tour. Posting to Instagram, Chloe Gill who is married to JLS member JB Gill, said: "COMPLETED it! 7months of STRICTLY and didn’t he absolutely smash it!!!

"He did the full run: 13 live tv shows and a nail-biting final followed by 35 live arena shows! We are SO proud of you and even more excited that we’ve got you back! Thank you Strictly for being everything and more you were truly FAB-U-LOUS."

JB was partnered with Welsh Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Amy Dowden however had to swap partners halfway through Strictly to Lauren Oakley when Amy was injured and withdrew from the competition. Fully recovered Amy returned to the dancefloor for the tour and joined Lauren and JB on stage.

Amy also reflected on performing in the tour. Posting a series of pictures from the tour, including some behind-the-scenes snaps, Amy wrote a lengthy caption. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.

In the caption, she said it had been "one tough long slog" and mentioned JB. She said: "The smile hasn’t left my face since show one.
