Bobbi Brown's beauty brand, Jones Road, releases the perfect moisturising lipstick
After stepping back from her eponymous beauty company, legendary makeup guru Bobbi Brown has returned with new brand Jones Road. The original 20-piece collection of clean makeup and skincare products was created with a simple ethos in mind – that every single product should be a hero product.

What is Jones Road?
After stepping away from the beauty brand she founded in the '90s back in 2016, Bobbi Brown launched Jones Road.
The offering consists of multi-purpose products, promising to deliver "clean, strategic, high-grade formulations that work on every skin type and tone – and that are as simple to use as they are to master to be easy to use and effective".
Everything about the brand, from the simple but stylish packaging to its clean ethos, feels fresh and modern.
In terms of its clean credentials, the brand says that it follows guidelines that are even more stringent than those of the EU, eliminating a whole host of unwanted ingredients, including phthalates and sulfates.
Chatting about the brand on her website, Bobbi says: "After I left Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, one of those questions was: 'Why can't I find makeup products that are both clean and high-performance –that don't sacrifice one for the other?'
She continues: "What I wanted was the makeup equivalent of a Swiss Army Knife: Easy, cool, multi-purpose products that could be used to nail any look, whether it be no-makeup makeup or something with more drama."
Brown goes on to describe Jones Road as "a growing collection of simple, smart products for all ages, skin types, and skin tones that help women achieve the no-makeup makeup look naturally".
Where to shop Jones Road
After officially landing in the UK back in July 2021, Jones Road was only available to shop on the brand's website, but the must-try makeup brand is now also available at Liberty London, both in store and online.
"I needed one place that people could go in and touch and feel product and actually was connected to Liberty who jumped at the opportunity," Bobbi explains. "Liberty is my favourite store – it’s like no other store in the world so I’m pretty excited about the launch!"

"The Oil-Free Moisturizer is my summer staple," says Bobbi Brown of the new product. "Not only is it lightweight which makes it perfect on dry skin in hot and humid climates, but it also works very well on oily skin all year round. Layer your favorite SPF over the moisturizer for a lightweight finish."
Gel Bronzer
The latest must-have in the Jones Road collection is perfect for getting a natural, sunkissed look this summer. The Gel Bronzer – which dropped earlier this month on 15 June – is a sheer, lightweight skin tint with a barely there feel. It comes in three shades (Light is "golden bronze", Medium is a "reddish bronze" and Dark is a "chocolate bronze") so you can find your perfect match. Just apply directly to cheeks, nose, forehead and neck (basically, everywhere the sun would naturally hit).
Chatting about the product, Bobbi Brown explains how versatile it is: "You can use Gel Bronzer on bare skin, mixed with your moisturiser, or over your What The Foundation. If using it with more emollient products, apply Miracle Balm or Lip and Cheek stick directly on top."

The Bronzer
The latest addition to the Jones Road line-up, The Bronzer (£32) has been two years in the making and it does not disappoint. A velvety powder to add warmth to the skin, it's available in seven shades and has been developed to work across a range of skin tones. Bobbi says: "Often bronzers can be too dry, too orangey, and way too shimmery, which makes them difficult to blend. This is not like most bronzers. Our Bronzer adds warmth to the skin, and can be used as an all-over skin tint, or for colour correction if your skin is looking sallow. It's minimal, quick, and easy to use. It's really reinventing a staple product everyone should have in their makeup bag." The new Bronzer Brush (£40) is a must-have companion for flawless application.
What the Foundation (WTF)
Jones Road's must-have base product, What The Foundation (WTF) £42, is a moisture balm meets foundation packed with skin-nourishing ingredients including Jojoba Oil and Sodium Hyaluronate. The WTF had a viral moment on TikTok and has since had raving reviews from beauty editors and enthusiasts alike. Available in 12 shades, the main aim of Bobbi's base is to achieve a 'your skin but better' look that blends seamlessly.
The Lip Tint
Another recent addition to our Jones Road collection are the brand's £26 Lip Tints. Described as "Bobbi’s take on a traditional lipstick", the moisturising lip product glides on effortlessly and is perfect for on-the-go. It's available in nine shades, and is a buildable tint so it's ideal whether you want a sheer touch of colour or a dramatic, bold lip.
Shimmer Face Oil
The Jones Road Shimmer Face Oil, £34, launched just in time for summer 2022. Described as "subtle glow in a bottle", the lightweight, silky oil promises to waken up the complexion and add radiance to the skin. It's a makeup-skincare hybrid blended with nine oils to nourish and hydrate, and it's available in four flattering shades.
"It is great alone and great to mix with foundation," explained Bobbi Brown. "I use one pump and I like to put it everywhere, however if you haven’t used it before try using half a pump first. It doesn’t look super glittery, it’s just enough and it is so finely ground that it doesn’t sit on the skin or sink into fine lines."
Miracle Balm
Another hero product is the £36 Miracle Balm, a light-reflecting product that can be used to add a wash of colour anywhere you want to tint or glow, including on the cheeks, lips and eyelids.
What's more, Jones Road has recently added a new shade to the collection - and it's a makeup bag must-have for an instant boost. Flushed, is a warm pink that instantly brightens the complexion. Speaking about the new launch, Bobbi said: "Blusher adds an injection of vitality to the skin, this tint combined with the moisturising texture of Miracle Balm equals Flushed.
"Whenever I don’t feel my vibrant self, Flushed fakes it - I pop a little bit of colour high on the cheekbones, across the nose or swept over the forehead. When people see Flushed they might think it looks a little intense, however it is sheer with small gold flecks. Flushed does everything, it’s a Blush, it’s a Tint - there is no rulebook."
The Face Pencil
The Face Pencil, £24 – also dubbed "the everything stick" – is a must-try. It promises to cover redness and dark spots, correct discoloration and lighten dark circles, all while delivering a natural finish that is described as "virtually undetectable".
The Miracle Cream
We've also got our eye on the pleasingly affordable Miracle Cream, £38, which not only promises to leave skin feeling plumped and refreshed, but contains acne-fighting Sunflower Seed Oil, hydrating and anti-inflammatory Vitamin A, and nourishing Shea Butter. It can be used as a daily moisturiser for dry skin types or as an overnight mask.
