Watch Sara Davies make a stunning Mother's Day gift with pine cones
Sara Davies has found a brilliant use for any pine cones you still have around the house or garden, transforming them into a stunning Mother's Day gift.
The Dragons' Den star shared the easy craft project on her Instagram page, saying: "Does anyone else have a bunch of pine cones just lying around in the garden or do you have a stash from Christmas but you have no idea what to do with them? Well, let’s get crafting!"
After cutting and spray painting the pine cones so they look like flowers, Sara creates a beautiful heart shaped wreath with added foliage. "I mean... come on, how amazing does that look," she says.
Although Sara makes her wreath heart shaped, the card base could be cut to any shape.
"If you're looking for a little bit of a wreath for the front door that's a little bit different, this is perfect," she says. "I actually hung mine up in the house.
"It's really easy to make and, of course, it's all sustainable, using bits and pieces from the garden. How cute's that?"
Sara's followers loved the wreath. Commenting on the post, @kawaii_by_emma said "Wow that's stunning and so unique" and @wholeheartedhappiness added "That's given me a great idea for Mother's Day. It's super cute."
