When Kailey Blair d'Adesky gave birth to a healthy baby boy in Florida, it was the cue for a double dose of joy and a surprise for her 96-year-old grandfather.

D'Adesky, who calls her grandpa "Dandad," had always dreamed of sharing two experiences with her grandparents —her wedding and the birth of her children. Having accomplished the first milestone, D'Adesky subsequently decided to name her son Decker Ray after her beloved "Dandad," Ray Snipe.

Snipe's emotions ran high when he met his great-grandson for the first time. Beaming with pride, he tried to hold back tears as D'Adesky revealed the baby's full name – Decker Ray d'Adesky.
