Victoria Beckham is being applauded by fans for the launch of a new clothing range, which is inclusive of plus-size bodies.

The singer turned fashion designer, 48, married to former England footballer David Beckham, 47, has released VB Body, a 12-piece collection which features sizing from size four to 18.

The new line features one-shoulder mini and midi dresses, a cropped fitted cardigan, and split-front leggings in colours from a vibrant green to more neutral blush, brown, black and white.

Prices start from £90 for a VB body strap bandeau top and go up to £690 for a VB body fitted square neck dress.

On the website the range is described as a "permanent capsule collection" and is said to feature "meticulously designed, form-fitting knitted pieces - including separates, shaping skirts and slimming dresses - created to flatter the body."

Victoria Beckham first teased the collection on her Instagram earlier this month, sharing an image of a curvy model wearing some of the designs from the new collection.

"Designed in our signature compact knit, VB Body gently sculpts and flatters the figure," the fashion designer wrote in the accompanying caption.

"This season sees elevated takes on wear-everywhere pieces, including scallop detailing, a new square neckline and an open-back bodysuit.

And news of the launch certainly seemed to go down well with fans, who praised the star for the more inclusive range.

"Hoorah!!! Finally VB models of all sizes, well done," one user wrote.

"Finally qween!" agreed another. "You listened to our feedback and used curvaceous models for your campaign."

"Finally some nice designs for us curvy ladies," yet another fan commented.

Beckham recently revealed she believes striving to be super thin is considered somewhat out-dated.

“It’s an old-fashioned attitude, wanting to be really thin,” she told Grazia.

“I think women today want to look healthy, and curvy.

“They want to have some boobs and a bum.”

The designer went on to say it wasn't about "being a certain size" but "about being happy with who you are.”

The fashion designer also revealed she found a new appreciation for working toward a strong, curvy physique while spending time in Miami during the spring of 2021.

“There are a lot of really curvy women in Miami, and they really own it, you know?” Beckham said. “They walk along Miami beach with not a lot of clothes on, and they look fantastic.

"They show their bodies off with such confidence. I found both their attitude and their style really liberating. And as a mother, I loved that Harper was around women who were really celebrating their curves and enjoying how they look.”

Back in July the star opened up about her daily wellness routine, which includes two morning workouts and drinking apple cider vinegar when she wakes up.

Having risen at 6.45am, Beckham heads straight to the lower-ground floor gym of her house where she runs on the treadmill for 30 minutes, uphill.

After waking up her daughter, Harper, 11, she does the school run before fitting in a "gruelling" one-hour weights session with her personal trainer.

As for her diet, Beckham admits she is "extreme in anything I do", particularly when it comes to her much-discussed meal choices.

Earlier this year David Beckham revealed that his wife has pretty much only eaten grilled fish and steamed vegetables for the past 25 years.

But Mrs Beckham clarified her husband's comments while explaining more about her diet.

"Talk about making me sound boring!" the former Spice Girl told Vogue Australia.

“No. What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat. I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing."
