Veronica Beard Fall 2025: An American Je Ne Sais Quoi
Parisian style has had a hold on Americans for centuries and Veronica Beard wants a piece, too. Founders Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard are taking their fall collection abroad using Parisian chic as inspiration — but they still very much have their minds on business. “It’s our obsession with international expansion,” Swanson Beard said of the look to the City of Light. They already have stores in London and they are looking to scale across Europe this year.
Veronica Beard in Paris means layering up their menswear suiting, paisley dresses and ruffles on tops — think boho a la Jane Birkin with a decidedly American twist. The boho 1970s nuance also came through in earthy browns, military green and moody florals but without hitting the customer over the head with the trend. They also offered some glam, with embellished black pants with metal beading that would pair well with a cozy knit or signature crest button blazer.
Accessories met the moment with clogs, new sneakers, boots with detachable chains and a mix of supple handbags. New for the season was a collaboration on jewelry with Sylvia Toledano, whose cabochon jewels bedazzled bags with juicy gem tones.
There was plenty of American prep with ease here for both a new found European customer and Veronica Beard’s Stateside base.
