Vanessa Feltz's ex Ben Ofoedu 'splits' from girlfriend Precious Muir after 'painful realisation'
Ben Ofoedu, Vanessa Feltz's ex-fiancé, has reportedly split from girlfriend Precious Muir. According to the MailOnline, the couple have decided to call it quits after one year over a 'heartbreaking clash'.
Phats & Small singer Ben, 52, began dating Precious, 33, following his breakup from Vanessa, 62, who he was dating for over 16 years. It appears Ben and Precious have ended things on amicable terms, however, as the singer reportedly wishes to 'hold onto their friendship'. He told the MailOnline: "I could always see a future with Precious because we connect so well, laugh so much and enjoy one another. However, with both our schedules being so manic and life moving so fast we have decided to part ways romantically but hold onto our friendship."
Precious also added: "Ben needs a partner who can settle down right now and have children sooner rather than later. Due to our age difference, for me, I would like to wait a bit longer, perhaps within five years' time, who knows. There is nothing worse than misleading someone once you know how you feel about something like this and know how important it is to the other person."

OK! has approached representatives for Ben and Precious for comment.
The TV star - who might be recognised from her time on the first series of Channel 4's The Circle and her appearances on seasons one and two of Open House - concluded that she'll always love Ben and that he treated her like a "princess".
Ben and Precious were first seen together in December 2023 during a dinner date at Oxford Circus in London. It was also reported in March, after around three months together, Ben was said to have told people at a party in London that Precious was his "soon-to-be wife".
Their relationship came one year after his public split from TV star Vanessa Feltz. Vanessa announced her split from Ben last February after 16 years together, revealing at the time that she felt "disappointed" and "extremely sad" to see the relationship come to an end.
Vanessa told The Sun: "I had thought it might take a bit longer before this came out, because it’s a lot to deal with — a shock like this takes some adjusting to — but I am extremely sad and disappointed that my 16-year relationship with Ben is over.
"Who knew I’d be single at 60? However, ladies, it’s onwards and upwards and I firmly believe that the best is yet to come."
