Undercover Men’s Fall 2025: Rock Around the Clock

The collection was an adventure fantasy filled with glistening gemstones, lambskin gauntlets and colors that virtually glowed in the dark.

Jun Takahashi‘s fall 2025 lineup for Undercover drew inspiration from so many sources, including his youthful love of European electronic rock bands, the rugged British countryside and the fantastical monster designs of the late Spanish artist Josep Baqué.

What tied the disparate references together was Takahashi’s vibrant imagination and passion for color, fabric and fine tailoring.

Clothing ranging from featherweight black coats to hefty anoraks featured album covers from various bands from the 1970s and 1980s. Some of the images were created with a jacquard weave and inlaid delicately onto the front and back of a long black coat while other, colorful album covers exploded over the front of sporty jackets with zippers and hoods.

Takahashi took the electro-rock theme further, creating dramatic, costume-y gloves and fabric baseball caps paved with sparkling, chunky gemstones — straight out of the Emerald City — and wool-lined gauntlets with zip-on, zip-off panels, fit for stylish knights.

The designer also delved into a British countryside dream, creating a lineup of jackets, coats, cargo pants and kilts that were rough-edged and sturdy. Some were made from a patchwork of checks and Harris tweeds that were twisted and wrinkly from having been washed.

Softness came in the shape of a double-face cashmere duffle coat that was camel on the outside, plaid on the inside — and buttery soft. Equally soft cotton jackets, pajamas and silky padded slippers were printed with Baqué’s colorful, comical monsters, adding another layer of fantasy to this fun collection.
