These two very high-profile royals are "thinking about" moving to Australia

The UK could soon be bidding farewell to two of the most popular – and high-profile – royals, as Zara and Mike Tindall have just revealed they are seriously considering a move to Australia.

The royal couple are currently on holiday Down Under for Queensland's Magic Millions horse racing event, which Zara – who is an Olympic equestrian – is an ambassador for. Since taking on the role in 2012, she and husband Mike have travelled to Surfers Paradise every year for the event, meaning a move there isn't out of the question.

And that's not the only connection the pair have with the country, as during his recent I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stint (which also took place in Australia), Mike explained that he and Zara had met there too, at a bar in Sydney after he was dropped from the England rugby team.

"Yes, I think if an opportunity came up we'd definitely think about it," Zara said to Australia Women's Weekly when asked if a move Down Under was on the cards for the Tindall family.

Similarly, Mike told his I'm A Celeb... campmates that Australia has become a second home for him, his wife and their three children. "Early January is bleak over [in the UK], so it's nice to go and have a bit of sun. I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach – especially for the kids, taking them in the ocean is brilliant," he said.

"I just think the people over in Australia are so laidback and they have good banter," Mike went on. "It's not a rushed lifestyle. I think it's a great place and we enjoy it so much."
