The trick Beyoncé uses to disguise tired eyes
Not that Beyoncé is ever not on your radar, but she's been top of mind lately with the launch of Black Is King.
Naturally, as a beauty editor, one of the first thoughts that usually pops into my head about someone—particularly if they have good skin—is what products are they using? Beyoncé is no exception. The good news: she has shared some of her staple beauty secrets. The bad news: it's been a while since she has.
Unfortunately, the singer is pretty tight-lipped about her skincare routine and, from what I could find, hasn't specifically talked to anyone in the media about her skin habits since 2011. So, until Beyoncé breaks her beauty routine silence, I'll be following her methods below.

She uses this trick for tired eyes
When asked if she had any anti-fatigue tricks, Beyoncé shared with Elle in 2011 that she puts a little gold eyeshadow in the inner corners of her eyes, explaining: "It's more subtle than white, but it still really makes you look more awake."
She sleeps in Aquaphor
Yes, as in the high-street staple. In that same article, Beyoncé told Elle, "I go to bed looking totally greasy, it's not all glamour all the time."
She uses this salve as a multitasker
In 2011 Beyoncé told Allure that one of her must-have beauty products is Smith's Rosebud Salve saying: "I wear it with my lipstick. I did this trick last summer, when I was on vacation. I used it to prime my lashes before curling. It was like a natural mascara. It made the lashes hold the curl and look shiny. I use it for everything!"
She always takes her make-up off before bed
Beyoncé's longtime make-up artist, Sir John, has also shared some of her beauty secrets over the years including that he tells all of his clients (including Bey) to put skincare first. "Always take off make-up at night. It doesn't matter if you're dead tired or drunk, take your make-up off before bed," Sir John told Elle.

She creates a strategic glow
In the same interview with Elle, Sir John shared his strategic method for creating Bey's glowing skin. "My one piece of advice for applying product is to stay away from using anything that creates shine on the centre of the face—the centre of the face should always stay matte." The reason: so your face doesn't look oily in pictures. "However, I love to use luminising products; L'Oréal's Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer is great around the edge of the face to give it some brilliance and radiance so you look glowy and dewy but in a totally natural way."
