The trending bag style that can elevate any look
The epitome of quiet luxury, suede bags are having a moment right now thanks to their power to instantly elevate any look.
They've become a favourite with the fashion set and celebrities alike, largely in part due to The Row's sold-out Soft Margaux 17 bag, which retailed for a cool £5,190.
But, this trend has been bubbling up for some time now, spotted on the A/W 24 runways at Chloé and Ulla Johnson, and loved by everyone from Bella Hadid to Sofia Richie and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
This season's take on suede is less boho, more polished. There's a variety of styles to choose from too, from structured hold-alls to slouchy totes and mini bucket bags to casual half-moon crossbodys in timeless, rich shades of chocolate-brown, tan, burgundy and olive.
As we head into the new season, both luxury labels and high street brands have released their take on the trend, from Reformation's Oversized Patrizia Bag that gives us major designer vibes to Marks & Spencer's £130 tote.
And, with a hint of suede on the runway of the Prada S/S 2025 show, it's clear this trend won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Consider this a capsule wardrobe investment.
