Brittany, France
Located in the most western part of France, Brittany offers rugged coastlines, some of the oldest architecture in the world, and charming fishing villages – which means the freshest of seafood. From the dramatic cliffs of the Pink Granite Coast to the medieval streets of Saint-Malo, Brittany provides a rich blend of nature, culture and tradition.
Paros, Greece
While crowds may be flocking to Athens and Santorini, Paros offers a more secluded escape. The Greek island is home to over 30 beaches and the famous Byzantine Road, an ancient hiking trail that dates back a thousand years. Even better, it's only a 40-minute flight or a three-hour ferry ride from Athens.
Franschhoek, South Africa
Franschhoek is just an hour-long drive away from Cape Town, and it's the perfect destination for foodies and oenophiles. With almost 50 vineyards, travelers can indulge in tours and tastings. The town has French roots, which has led to an array of bistros and restaurants serving up artisan cheeses and more.
Koh Samui, Thailand
As Thailand's second largest island, Koh Samui has some of the most picturesque beaches, ideal for travelers looking to unplug. Visitors can enjoy waterfall hikes or dive at Ang Thong National Marine Park.
Macau, China
Often considered the "Las Vegas of Asia," Macau has a vibrant nightlife, including huge casinos mixed with culture and history. Located on the southern coast of China, Macau has a Portuguese influence that's seen in its culinary scene and Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of course, there are traditional Chinese temples and tea ceremonies to check out, too.

Lace-up your hiking boots because Moab is an outdoor enthusiast's wonderland. The Utah city is nestled between five national parks, offering hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and other outdoor adventures. Be sure to make time for stargazing.
Nikko, Japan
A two-hour train ride from Tokyo, Nikko is steeped in culture and history dating back to the late 700s. It's at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nikko National Park, where travelers can visit hot springs, waterfalls, lakes and sacred sites. There are also ancient temples and shrines throughout the town. The area is beautiful in the autumn when the leaves change colors to vibrant warm hues.
Sao Paulo, Brazil
As one of the world's biggest cities, Sao Paulo offers travelers a lot to do, from museums to parks and a vibrant food culture. The Brazilian city is diverse, and a good time to visit is during one of its many parades, like the biggest LGBTQ+ parade globally.
Sun Valley, U.S.
Idaho's Sun Valley is a famous and picturesque resort town tucked into the Rocky Mountains. In the winter, snowsports are the thing to do, but the town is also perfect for hiking, leaf peeping, and mountain biking during the warmer months.
