The Traitors Charlotte says 'still didn't' as she uses her Welsh accent to uncover Gavin & Stacey secrets
Charlotte Berman from The Traitors has tried - and sadly failed - to get some inside information from Gavin & Stacey legends, using her fake Welsh accent. The Faithful-turned-Traitor decided in the very first episode that she would be adopting a fake Welsh accent as part of her gameplan so that she would seem "more trustworthy" amongst other players.
While Charlotte, who is actually from London, didn't manage to win the show, the plan seemingly worked for her. She did not have any suspicion on her until the Seer twist, which uncovered Charlotte's identity as a Traitor to Faithful Frankie, and her fellow castmates were all gobsmacked to hear that she wasn't actually Welsh when it was revealed to them.
Last night, Charlotte, 32, reunited with some of The Traitors' cast for a Radio Times party, where she also bumped into Gavin & Stacey stars Robert Wilford, who plays Jason West, and Laura Aikman, who shocked everyone, including her own parents by returning to the sitcom to play Sonia in the finale.

Charlotte shared a picture of her with the two actors to her Instagram with the caption: "When not-actually-Welsh Traitor meets Gavin & Stacey legends. Still didn't manage to find out about the fishing trip!" followed by a series of emojis, including a Welsh flag. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter
While the all important question of whether Smithy and Nessa would end up together was answered in the Christmas Day finale which drew in over 19 million viewers, those hoping that the fishing trip mystery would finally be solved were left waiting. Like many of us, Charlotte still clearly wants to know what the long-running mystery is all about.
While the secret wasn't revealed in the last episode, fans were given their first ever glimpse at the fateful fishing trip in the Gavin & Stacey: A Fond Farewell documentary which ended with a never-before-seen clip. In the footage, Bryn is heard saying "who do we have here?" before the camera pans to Jason holding a fish. Bryn is also heard saying "no one will go hungry in this camp tonight," before the screen fades to black as he says: "Enjoy your soup!" The soup on the fire is one of the key bits of info we know about the fishing trip as well as it being very cold, and, whatever happened "wasn't illegal".
With creators Ruth Jones and James Corden promising fans that there will be no more Gavin & Stacey, it seems that everyone, including Traitor Charlotte, will be left in the dark about the fishing trip.
