Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer welcomes second baby and shares sweet name
Congratulations are in order for Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer who has welcomed her second child with partner Simon Brough.
The actress shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a photo of the newborn and confirming that her new baby boy had arrived earlier in February.
"Rowan Leon James Brough," she captioned the post, adding: "7.2.22 10:49am 8lbs 3oz xx."
Dani and Simon are already parents to daughter Averie-Belle, who was part of the couple's super-sweet pregnancy announcement in August.
On Dani's Instagram page, the family posed together with Averie-Belle holding up a photo of some baby scans with the caption: "Han solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey.
"Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022."
Dani reprised her role as Tracy Beaker in 2021 in My Mum Tracy Beaker, which broke records as the most-streamed CBBC programme of all time.
Following the show's massive success, CBBC announced in August that the much-loved Jacqueline Wilson character would be returning for a new five-part series titled The Beaker Girls, which premiered in December 2021.
The series focused on Tracy and her daughter Jess (Emma Maggie Davies) and followed the Beaker Girls as they began running the Dumping Ground junk shop in the seaside town of Cooksea.
"When Jordan, a runaway teen who has been repeatedly failed by the care system, finds her way into the Beaker Girls' cosy family, Tracy's life seems to have come full circle as she contemplates becoming a foster parent. But Jess might not be so ready to share her mum," the synopsis continued.
