TOWIE's Megan McKenna complains being pregnant leaves her feeling 'hungover'
Megan McKenna has candidly shared with her fans that she's been feeling "hungover" due to pregnancy sickness. The 31 year old singer-songwriter and her fiancé Oliver Burke, 26, joyfully announced they were expecting their first baby together on social media earlier this month after having fertility treatment.
Since then, the popular reality TV star, known for her appearances on shows like The Only Way Is Essex and Celebrity Big Brother, has been keeping her followers updated on her pregnancy journey. She recently revealed that she had a urinary tract infection (UTI) and suffered an allergic reaction to the medication prescribed for it.
On Sunday, Megan took to Instagram once again to share another update about her pregnancy so far. She confessed that she was experiencing "sickness" but felt "much better" after having breakfast at McDonald's.
In a video clip filmed in her car, she said: "Good morning! I'd like to say that I've felt better. I don't know. D'you know how I feel? I feel like I've woken up with a hangover and I haven't had a drink." She also showed her breakfast order in the video, reports the Mirror.
Whilst chilling in her ride, Megan shared: "So what I do is I order an egg with cheese and two slices of bacon. He's given me two hash browns? Not ... oh, I've got three. I take it back. I take it back. Okay, so this is what I get for my McDonald's breakfast. Yes, this is actually all gluten-free believe it or not. And then obviously a s**tload of ketchup on the side."
In her clip, Megan gushed: "I get a frozen strawberry lemonade. Honestly, this is the best drink you will ever try. Every time I drink it, it's like the first time I've tried it."
She also let slip that she had nabbed an orange juice and a cheeky little Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Chatting about her brekkie choice, she enthused: "Actually like so nice, I'm not even joking." Megan then brought up her little one, revealing: "Our baby's the size of a mango so ... actually quite big now. Crazy [but] amazing at the same time."
Touching on "sickness" during her pregnancy journey, she penned in the caption that went with the video: "Anyone else had a McMuffin without the muffin? ! Sickness has randomly crept in nicely this morning and our baby's the size of a mango. How cool! I actually fancy a mango now for dessert."
Megan continued the discussion in the comments section. When one user suggested anti-sickness bands and expressed their hopes for her to feel better soon, she replied: "Will try the bands. Thank you! Tbf I feel soooo much better now."
Fans were quick to show their support, with one saying: "The whole time I was pregnant it felt like one never ending hangover! Sending you all the strength and good vibes."
