TOWIE icon looks unrecognisable with huge hair transformation as fans all say the same thing
TOWIE star Megan McKenna has debuted a huge hair transformation, chopping off her long locks for a bob with a fringe. Megan lives in Germany with her fiance Oliver Burke and their baby son, but is currently back in the UK and used the visit to switch up her look.
Taking to Instagram to show off the result of her salon visit, Megan posed with her new bouncy brown bob and fringe. The TV star had a full face of glam makeup on while donning a grey jumper and dainty gold jewellery in the snaps. She wrote: “This is my mum era. Feels good to have a new look! It was needed.”
Her followers were quick to compliment her new look, with many saying it reminded them of Uma Thurman’s character in Pulp Fiction. Comments read: “Really suits you! You look like mia out of pulp fiction x” and: “Giving me pulp fiction vibes.” Other fans said: “Absolute fire wow wow wow you could be on the cover of vogue love it!” and: “90s supermodel vibesssss!!”

Megan also shared a closer look at her hair transformation in a video, which also featured sweet glimpses of her baby son Landon. She said: “Only grew my hair out for a year to cut it all off today. I’ve missed a fringe haha.You smashed it @rowanireland_creative Thankyou.”
Megan welcomed her first child, son Landon, in October last year with footballer fiancé Oliver. The pair got engaged in June 2023 and the family now live in Germany as Oliver plays for football team SV Werder Bremen.
Megan has been sharing her journey as a new mum with her followers, as well as keeping them up to date with their trip back to London. Sharing a video of them back in the UK capital, she wrote: “Germany to London. Got in late but still made room service! Oh I miss you London. I suppose it makes you appreciate it even more when you come…. also Landon is teething and have been up all night so long the hotel lay ins.”
While back in the UK, Megan also sadly attend the funeral of her beloved grandmother, Nanny Jean. Sharing a picture of the stunning floral arrangements in tribute to her grandmother, Megan wrote: "The hardest but most beautiful day celebrating your life, Nanny. The very best for you, Nan. Thank you to everyone who came today – I feel so lucky to have such an amazing family."
Last month, Megan shared the sad news of her gran's passing with a heartfelt video montage. "You're now my guardian angel, Nan. I will forever love and miss you so much. You weren’t just my nan, you were my best friend. I’ll miss our FaceTime calls, coffee dates, and Sunday roast dinners every day," she wrote.
She added: "It doesn’t feel real that you’re not with us anymore. I’m glad you’re at peace now. You will always be remembered as a beautiful lady with the most stylish wardrobe. I’m so grateful that Landon got to meet his Nanny Jean."
