Brides on a budget, this one’s for you.

Topshop have just announced that they will be launching a bridal range complete with dresses for both brides and bridesmaids along with accessories and wedding lingerie.

Hitting stores in April, the retailer is still very hush hush about the exact designs on offer. The only image released shows a veiled bride wearing a satin wedding dress with a plunging neckline and simple floral detailing.

Topshop joins the likes of plenty of other high street brands who are offering purse-friendly alternatives to bespoke wedding dresses.

Back in March, ASOS pioneered the trend by launching an affordable on-trend collection that even featured a Solange-style jumpsuit.

Whistles announced the same – albeit a bit more expensive – a few months later. Their 7-piece collection, which is available from February, costs between £499 and £699. Still a lot cheaper than a triple-figure dress.

Even uber affordable fashion site, Missguided, got in on the act, releasing a premium wedding collection that will cost you no more than £150.

The days of extortionate weddings are over.
