Film and TV locations are now the most popular wedding venues, according to wedding planning site Hitched. The historic settings may cost a princely sum but this doesn’t seem to be putting people off.

The set of Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle, is the current favourite with locations made famous by James Bond films coming a close second.

"Spectacular wedding venues that are featured on the silver screen are becoming increasingly popular with wedding planning couples. Venues featured in royal and period dramas prove the most popular, particularly for couples wanting to add an extra level of prestige and grandeur to their special day," Hitched editor Caroline Bradley told the Daily Mail.

If you’re in the mood for an unforgettable wedding, why not book up one of these gorgeous venues? They’ll certainly leave your guests green with envy.
