The Today show cast is ready to start fresh in 2025.

Good Housekeeping asked some of your favorite anchors to weigh in on the "One Word New Year Challenge"that's trending on social media. Essentially: What one word sums up their intentions for the year?

We caught up with Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Saturday Today host Laura Jarrett and Today fitness contributor Stephanie Mansour at the launch of the Start TODAY app in New York City on January 7. In line with the NBC daytime program's motivation to help viewers maintain a healthier balance in all areas of their lives, we wanted to know what kind of energy the stars hoped to usher in as the new year begins. Well, they had a lot to say about what they want to project over the next 12 months, and we captured it all for a video on our TikTok page.

"The #TodayShow crew revealed their mantras for 2025, and honestly they are so good (wait until you hear @Craig Melvin's!)," read the official caption. "What's YOUR word to live by this year?"

Now, you may already have a resolution or focus in mind for yourself in 2025. But here's what the Today cast had to say, just in case you want to take one (or more) of these ideas and incorporate it into your own life.

The Today show cast's one-word mantras for 2025:

Dylan Dreyer

"Breathe — so you don't lose it!"

Craig Melvin

"My one word mantra for 2025 is 'no.' Some people are like, 'Oh, start with yes!' N0, no, no. I did that in 2024 — didn't work out so well. I got burnt out."

Al Roker

"Grace. Have grace, try to give grace, receive grace. You know what? Life's too short."

Laura Jarrett

"OK, two words for 2025 — from my good friend Hoda Kotb, is 'go slow.' We don't need to rush around! Just marinate in your moment — like Hoda does."

Stephanie Mansour

"Embrace. Embrace the day, embrace what comes my way. Embrace."
