Timothée Chalamet's sweet birthday tribute to "inspiring" friend Zendaya
We can't wait to see Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya star alongside each other in upcoming movie Dune because it's clear the friends did some major bonding on set if Timothée's sweet birthday tribute to the Euphoria star is anything to go by.
Zendaya celebrated her 24th birthday on 1st September and Timothée sent his pal a very special message to mark the day. "Happy birthday to one of the most inspiring people I've met on my short journey," the Oscar-nominated actor wrote on Twitter. "Someone with the strongest ethical character, and a moral compass that is in harmony with a totally fearless creative abandon. Happy birthday @Zendaya, hope your day is beautiful, friend.."
After seeing the tweet, Zendaya replied: "Yo, you bout to make me tear up over here man, thank you for this, I appreciate you very much..."

The pair star in Denis Villeneuve-directed sci-fi movie Dune, which is slated for a December 18th release. Based on the 1965 novel by author Frank Herbert, Timothée plays the leading role of Paul Atreides, who, with his family, takes over the planet of Arrakis. While Zendaya plays Chani, a member of a group called the Fremen who inhabit Arrakis.

Speaking recently to InStyle about the role, Zendaya said: "Dune was incredible. I wasn't in it very much, so when I was watching the trailer, I was like, 'Oh my gosh!' I called Timothée and said, 'Dude! You should be proud.' It is a big deal to even be a small part of something with such a massive cast. And I love sci-fi stuff too. It's fun to escape into another world."
We can't wait until it drops.
