This week Stefano Gabbana - one half of Dolce & Gabbana - made headlines after criticising Dior's latest couture collection on Instagram, but it is certainly not the first time he has used his account to voice his controversial opinions.

The outspoken designer routinely uses the platform to slam critics or respond to already existing backlash, and the results range from hilarious to downright outrageous. Here, his most controversial moments to date:

When he commented on Anna Dello Russo's Instagram picture of Dior haute couture autumn/winter 2017 with "Ha sbagliato tutto come al solito". Loose translation? "It's all wrong, as usual."
