Gin is bang-on trend right now, and thank the heavens that it is - never has there been a wider selection of the drink to choose from from distilleries around the world.

And now an old favourite, Sipsmith, is collaborating with Bloom & Wild to make the dreamiest version of the tipple yet.

The renowned florists are teaming up with the maker of the zesty, citrusy gin to infuse it with freshly-picked flowers - according to their website, 2g hibiscus petals, 7g rose petals, 1g lemon verbena leaves, three borage flowers and one marigold flower, to be exact.

These are all muddled together and soaked for half an hour before it’s ready to be mixed with tonic.

Not only is the result a gorgeous, aromatic gin - but it’s pink too.

This is all to celebrate London Cocktail Week, which opened its doors yesterday and will continue until Sunday 9 October.

According to its website, London Cocktail Week is the biggest drinks festival in the UK with over 250 bars taking part, and you can still buy tickets to the event here.
