These Beauty Bloggers’ Glamourous Backdrops Aren’t What They Seem

Beauty bloggers’ abilities to make even the most bog-standard mascara packaging look amazing never ceases to amaze.
And sometimes, it’s easy to forget that these bloggers lead lives not unlike ours - they live in messy houses, do their own groceries, and have pets.
The latter, it turns out, are more useful for the job than one might have thought, as a recent Twitter trend has had bloggers incorporate their pets into their posts in the most hilarious way.
It all began when Kenya Funtes, 20, revealed how she actually creates the fluffy white backdrop we often see makeup bloggers use to display their new wares.

The twist? It’s just her pet cat.
The ‘hack’ has inspired other bloggers to do the same in what’s now become a series of hilarious images.
@kenya_fuentes thanks for the inspiration. I can’t afford a nice rug either. pic.twitter.com/OfwrvRd6I9

From big fluffy cats to little puffy dogs, we can see who the real stars behind these posts really are.
The pets don’t seem bothered about being used as a prop, either, as in response to Funtes’ original post, one Twitter user said “my cat would’ve got up and left”.

To which Funtes replied: “I could literally put something on her right now and she wouldn’t care.”
Others have replied with their very own pet-backdrop photos too.
