These are the most popular Deliveroo dishes in the UK
No one’s pretending to be particularly original or avant-garde when they order Deliveroo – we can save getting on the latest food trends for when we go to actual restaurants.
So, unsurprisingly, when we order our favourite food fix online instead of bothering to cook, us Brits often end up ordering similar things.
And thanks to Cosmopolitan, who asked the delivery giant what we all want to know, we can confirm the UK’s top Deliveroo dishes and cuisines.
Unsurprisingly, the top three types of cuisine are as follows: American, Italian and Thai.
Perhaps the latter is the least expected, as once upon a time when it came to curry, we used to be an Indian-obsessed nation.
When it comes to American dishes, our favourite is none other than a Bryon burger UK-wide.
We sure love American burgers, as this dish is followed by the Dead Hippie Burger from MEATLiquor, which is ordered from London, Brighton and Leeds, and then the rump steak burger from BRGR Co in London.
When it comes to Thai food, our favourite is the pad thai from Busaba Eathai branches all over the country, followed by anything from Banana Tree in London and Oxford.
Chicken tikka masala’s previous popularity in the UK is long gone, as our favourite curry dish comes thirds in the Thai list; Thai red chicken curry from Thai Rice in London.
For Italian food, our favourite is a mix of pizza and pasta, with Penne Gardiniera from Carluccio’s up top all over the UK.
Then it’s Brighton coming second with margaritas from VIP, and the Capricciosa from London’s Rossopomodoro.
London and Brighton sure love their Deliveroo – though any of us in the rest of the UK can’t deny we’ve gone for a Byron burger once or twice too.
