What's A Childhood Fear You Had That Followed You Into Adulthood?
Many things can follow us from childhood into adulthood, including fears. Now that spooky season is upon us, there's no better time to ask: What fear did you have in your childhood, whether irrational or not, that still haunts you as an adult?
Maybe you watched It (1990) when you were a kid for the first time, and it creeped you out so much that, to this day, you refuse to be anywhere near a clown.
Maybe you had such a bad experience riding a rollercoaster back in your childhood that whenever you go to any amusement park, you avoid the thrill rides completely.
Maybe you got chased by a goose one day when you were six and decided from then on out that you'd live a completely goose-less life.
Or perhaps the idea of Santa visiting your house every Christmas Eve scared you as a child, and now you can't help but wince every time the holiday season rolls about.
Whatever the case may be, if you're a whole adult still affected by a childhood fear, I wanna know all about it — no matter how strange! If you want a chance to be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post, share your story down in the comments, or you can anonymously submit using this form!
