When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday lands on Friday 29th November 2024 this year, with Cyber Monday following on Monday 2nd December 2024. Most retailers start their sales early and continue to run discounts throughout the weekend.
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a US tradition that takes place on the day after Thanksgiving. The sales extravaganza signals the beginning of the Christmas shopping period. It came to the UK in 2010, thanks to Amazon, and now most major retailers take part in the sales event. Traditionally, Black Friday was the day that in-store sales began, before online sales kicked off on Cyber Monday. However, most brands and retailers now run sales in-store and online throughout the weekend.
