Sometimes, a picture makes you blink twice. Well, a photo of a Taiwanese family made us audibly gasp.
Dubbed the country’s most youthful family, the group of women look more than half their age.
The three sisters – 41-year-old Lure Hsu, 36-year-old Sharon Hsu and 40-year-old Fayfay Hsu – have been pictured next to their 63-year-old mother.
The family photos – which appear to depict a bunch of teenage women with their 40-something mother – have since gone viral with people clamouring to find out how the Hsu women have retained their youthful looks.
One of them, Fayfay, is even a mother of two daughters aged eight and ten.
Fayfay spoke to the Daily Mail, revealing that the daughters believe they inherited their looks from their mother: “When our mother was young, she was incredible youthful looking. Now she still looks great.”
She revealed that people often think she is her children’s sister, not their mother.
Apparently, the key to her ageless appearance is drinking a glass of lukewarm water each morning. “I have been doing that for more than a decade. I drink 350ml to 500ml,” she said.
Lure, meanwhile, said her secret is to drink water and eat vegetables. She explained that she stays away from sugary drinks such as Coke and only drinks water and black coffee.
Lure also advised that women moisturise their skin twice a day because once your skin has enough water, you don’t even need to worry about ageing and wrinkles.”
The eldest sister, Sharon, says the most important thing is to protect your skin from the sun, revealing that her sisters have helped her up her skincare regime.
The sisters are stars in Taiwan with Lure and Sharon each having over 300,000 followers on Instagram.
One question: can we see each and every one of their birth certificates please?
