Swifties think Taylor Swift’s thigh-high red boots are a ‘Reputation’ Easter egg
Hi there! Taylor Swift showed up at the Kansas Chiefs game – for non US, non sporting fans, that's the American football team Tay's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for – last week [Thursday 5 September], wearing a pair of red thigh-high boots. We don't even know who the Chiefs were playing but in short, Taylor won with her jaw-dropping ensemble that consisted of a denim bustier top and high-rise denim micro shorts, paired with those OTK boots.
Well, listen up Swifties, because if online rumours are to be believed, we are convinced that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is coming. And it's all to do with those boots. Stay with us here, because it honestly makes so much sense (let me live!) considering these boots are a dead ringer for the ones the artist wore in the video for 2017’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Sharing the video below for your convenience. Plus, any excuse to listen to this banger, am I right?
I meaaaaan....

Of course, we’ve been burned before. Case in point? When Taylor showed up at the Grammys and everyone was convinced that (1) her entire outfit was a Reputation Easter egg and (2) she’d announce Rep TV that night. But instead, she one-upped herself by announcing The Tortured Poets Department.
Oh, and there was the time fans figured out that TTPD upside-down is Irish for “reputation” and thought the announcement was coming during Tay’s Dublin shows.
Fun fact, if you turn TTPD upside down you can read cail. The word may not make sense in first but in Irish it translated as Reputation. So that means we are probably getting Reputation T.V and the announcement will probably will be in Ireland,Dublin. pic.twitter.com/p6cOQE1GpT

ANYWAY, a reminder that Taylor told TIME during her Person of the Year interview that Rep TV would be “fire” and then described it as “a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure. I think a lot of people see it and they’re just like, sick snakes and strobe lights.”
She also said of her re-recordings, “I’m collecting horcruxes. I’m collecting infinity stones. Gandalf’s voice is in my head every time I put out a new one. For me, it is a movie now.”
We cannot wait!
