Susannah Constantine rushed to hospital due to 'serious' health issue

Susannah Constantine has been hospitalised with a "serious" health issue.

The 61-year-old style advisor posted a video from her hospital bed on Instagram on Wednesday morning. In the clip, her hand gives a weak thumbs up while connected to a drip as a nurse can be seen working the ward in the background.

In the caption, the What Not to Wear presenter revealed she originally sought medical advice over an issue with her arm but she turned out to have a "more serious" condition.

"Withered arm turned out to be (a) symptom of something a bit more serious," she wrote. "All sorted now thanks to our ailing but still magnificent NHS where we are lucky enough to have some of the most gifted doctors (and in this case neurosurgeons) in the world... Forever grateful."

While the Trinny & Susannah star did not divulge her health issue, she tagged the Brain & Spine Foundation, which offers support to those suffering from any neurological condition, in her post.

Susannah received well-wishes in the comments from a bunch of stars.

Lisa Snowdon wrote, "Oh honey. Gosh. Sending you lots of love and a speedy recovery," Zoe Ball commented, "Sending you much love darling," and Strictly's Johannes Radebe posted, "Get well soon darling."

Stacey Dooley also sent Susannah a love heart emoji, while Steps star Faye Tozer wrote, "Sending you the biggest love."
