Supermarket Christmas delivery slot timings as Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose open bookings
It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but for many the festive season can also be the most stressful. So why not take one thing off your to-do list and book in your Christmas delivery slot early?
Each year, all major supermarkets open up their Christmas delivery slot bookings around two to three months in advance of the holiday, so those celebrating can plan for what food will be delivered and when.

With Morrisons set to open up its bookings this week, and Waitrose, Ocado, and Asda having already opened theirs up, here are the dates to know to secure your slot.
Marks & Spencer
M&S's food-to-order range is already open for Christmas.
The supermarket doesn't offer a delivery service but does offer timed slots for orders to be collected in store (for delivery of festive food from M&S you can order via Ocado).
Simply click and add what you want to your online basket, pay a non-refundable £50 deposit (the balance is paid when you collect), then book a collection date and time between the 21-24 December.
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s delivery slots open on 23 October.
If you don’t manage to get a delivery slot, you can book a click-and-collect slot from 21 November.
Those wanting a click-and-collect slot on the 22, 23, and 24 of December will need to book their slot on the 25, 26 and 27 November respectively.
Iceland
In previous years, customers have only been able to book delivery slots six days in advance from Iceland.
The minimum delivery charge is £25, but you are entitled to free delivery when you spend £40 or more. Otherwise, for orders under this amount there's a surcharge of £3.
Tesco
Tesco plan to open early access Christmas slots for both delivery and click-and-collect from 6am on 7 November for its Anytime Delivery Saves customers, excluding those on off-peak plans.
It will open its Christmas delivery and click-and-collect slots to all other customers from 6am on 21 November.
Waitrose
According to Waitrose, delivery slots for Christmas are filling up quickly.
Available to order now for delivery between Wednesday 20 December to Sunday 24 December, Waitrose offer free home delivery with a minimum £40 spend.
Morrisons
Morrisons delivery slots for Christmas will be available to reserve from the 18 October for the supermarket's Delivery Pass holders.
While regular shoppers will have to wait until the 25 October to make their orders.
Ocado (M&S)
Those who pay a monthly subscription fee for Ocado's Smart Pass have already been given the chance to book a home delivery for Christmas.
As for general booking, the date hasn't yet been confirmed by the online retailer. But Ocado has said it will be contacting customers to let them know when they can book a slot.
So, if you’re a regular Ocado shopper, keep an eye on your phone.
Asda
Asda opened its Christmas delivery and click-and-collect slots on 3 October for its Delivery Pass members, and on 10 October for all other customers.
When you have booked a slot, the supermarket says you can pre-order the type of turkey you want at the same time. With 12 different types to choose from, there’s something for every budget.
Aldi
While Aldi doesn’t offer deliveries, it has now opened its click-and-collect service to allow customers to pick a one-hour slot for collection between 20 and 23 December.
