From suction toys to wands, there's a LELO vibrator for you
Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to spice things up in the bedroom and treat yourself to a new sex toy from luxe brand, LELO. There’s no need to head out to an overcrowded restaurant, when you can wine, dine, and the rest, from the comfort of your own home. And these top-quality toys are the gift that keeps on giving...
Lovehoney and Ann Summers may be better known in the sex toy space, but LELO has been making waves for its empowering message. The Swedish luxury brand puts self-care at its heart, claiming to offer “the experience of ecstasy without shame and the pleasure of discovering all the wonders of one’s body,” so customers can enjoy a fulfilled sex life.
LELO also champions new technology, helping women and men enjoy better orgasms – for example, our winning toy, the SONA 2 Cruise, taps into the latest trend in clitoral stimulation: the clitoral suction vibrator.
The brand sells a huge range of vibrators and sex toys, suitable for all types of stimulation. Although they typically have a higher price point than others on the market, quality is at the heart of everything LELO does, right down to the packaging.
To help you decide which one is right for you, the Good Housekeeping Institute put some of LELO’s best-selling toys to the test with the help of our at-home panel. Our editors have also hand-picked their favourite buys to cater to every need. These are their top picks, but keep scrolling for our full reviews.
Are LELO vibrators loud?
We get it. When you’re using a vibrator, you probably don’t want your whole household knowing what you’re getting up to (and brushing your teeth in your room is probably not the most believable excuse, either.)
Volume varies from toy to toy, but our testers let us know in their feedback which ones are on the slightly louder side. We’ve also included the max volume levels for each vibrator in the product specs below. The highest on our list is 60 decibels, which is supposedly the same noise level as a conversation.
How we test vibrators
The GHI recruited a panel of over 130 women of all ages to test a range of LELO’s sex toys. After putting them through their paces, our panel provided feedback on their ease of use, design and performance, including whether or not they enjoyed more intense orgasms. All their reviews were combined to give each toy a final score, with only the top performers making our final list.
The vibrators that earned their seal of approval are stamped with the GHI Approved logo below. We’ve also included some of our editors’ picks, to ensure there’s plenty of choice for every preference and budget.
No matter how you like to achieve your orgasm, there really is something for everyone...
SONA 2 Cruise
Score: 82/100
This clitoral suction vibrator gave one of our panellists some of their “most intense orgasms” ever. And with 12 different vibrating patterns to choose from, we’re sure you’ll be able to find the right one for you too.
The suction device mimics oral sex and uses patented ‘Sensonic Technology’, which creates sonic waves to deeply target the entire clitoris. Testers praised the toy’s shape, which fitted perfectly into their hands, making it easy to manoeuvre. They also liked the sleek silicone finish that felt soft against their skin. So, sit back and let the Cruise take control.
Dot Clitoral Vibrator
Score: 80/100
Described by the brand as a clitoral pinpoint vibrator, this toy’s soft pointed tip provides external stimulation with a choice of eight different patterns. It also uses the brand’s patented ‘Infinite Loop Technology’, which creates an oscillating vibrating pattern that one tester said definitely enhanced their experience.
Our panel noted that this doesn’t look like a vibrator, making it a discreet option to have in your bedside table. Many also said the unique, ergonomic design was different to anything they’d used before. This did mean some were unsure about how to use it at first, especially as the instructions aren’t the most straightforward, but a Google search later, and they were good to go.
Smart Wand 2
Score: 73/100
Though its main purpose is clitoral stimulation, this wand can also be used as an all-over body massager to help relieve tension and soothe sore muscles. In fact, one of our testers said they “liked it more as a general massager than as a sex toy.” So, say goodbye to your massage gun! Though you might get some funny looks if you pull this out of your gym bag...
You can choose from 10 different speeds to target different muscle groups, but it might take a few minutes to find the right one, according to one of our testers.
Soroya Wave
Score: 72/100
This rabbit vibrator from LELO has a longer shaft that can be inserted to hit the G-spot, as well as an external, pulsating arm for clitoral stimulation – now that’s a great two-in-one deal. Like most of LELO’s toys, this one also uses unique vibrating technology – this one’s called ‘WaveMotion’ and is designed to feel like “the caress of a lover’s fingers”.
There are eight different speed settings to choose from, which impressed our panel. Though some did note that it was noisier on the more intense settings, so maybe those are best kept for when you’re home alone.
Editors' picks
Enigma Double Sonic
One of the brand’s newest releases, the Enigma Double Sonic is a triple-stimulation massager. It’s designed to target your clitoris and G-spot, as well as the lesser-known A-spot....It can’t be just us who missed that one – the anterior fornix erogenous zone, also known as the A-spot, is commonly thought of as the female prostate. When stimulated, it can boost natural lubrication and improve the success rate of reaching orgasm. We’re listening!
Using an ergonomic internal stimulator and external clitoral stimulator, LELO’s patented DeepSonic technology delivers vibrating waves of pleasure direct to all three hotspots – now there’s a triple threat. There are eight different pleasure settings to sift through, with a generous two hours of battery life. There are also two exclusive app-controlled settings: ‘Finish Me Off’ will slowly build you up to the big moment, while the ‘Out of Control’ setting offers a slightly more unpredictable and intense journey.

As it's 100% waterproof, it's a great bath or shower addition too.
INA Wave™ 2

The verdict: Which LELO vibrators are best?
Our winning LELO SONA 2 Cruise takes solo play to another level with its clitoral suction skills, according to our panel. But if you’re after something slightly more budget-friendly, consider the original SONA Cruise model from our editors’ picks, or even the smaller LELO Lily.
Alternatively, opt for the unique, ergonomic design of the LELO Dot, our testing panel's runner-up, which has eight different vibration patterns to choose from.
