Universal Truckload: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

WARREN, Mich. (AP) _ Universal Truckload Services Inc. (ULH) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $15.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Warren, Michigan-based company said it had net income of 53 cents.

The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $374.3 million in the period.

Universal Truckload shares have risen 27 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $30.17, an increase of 41 percent in the last 12 months.
