Helena Bonham Carter is without a doubt an English gem. The actress, who turns 50 today, has been on our screens for decades and with credits such as ‘Fight Club’, ‘The King’s Speech’ and, yes, ‘Harry Potter’ under her belt, we think it’s fair to say that she is a quintessential British heroine both on and off the screen.

She hasn’t only given us numerous cinematic masterpieces, but also a entire style file full of versatile and somewhat eccentric outfits. Helena definitely isn’t afraid to express herself and that is why we love her.
