Strictly's Gemma Atkinson unveils brunette hair transformation
Radio presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Gemma Atkinson has unveiled her new brunette hair transformation.
The Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actor turned media personality took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she had decided to try out a new colour for 2025.
"Team brunette for a bit," she wrote in the caption accompanying a photo of herself in the car.
She gave fans a better look at the before and after by sharing Stories uploaded by her hairdresser Emily Rose Monk. In the second video, the duo pointed out how lighter bits in her hair created a nice contrast.
Gemma is engaged to Strictly pro Gorka Marquez, having first met while competing in the 2017 season. They share a daughter named Mia (born 2019), and son named Thiago (born 2023).
Speaking about their relationship last year, Gemma said: "It's gonna sound really big-headed and arsy and I don't mean it to, but he's the only person who I was dating and went on to be in a relationship with who didn't know anything about what I'd done, who I'd dated, what I'd worked in.
"So [Gorka] didn't have any expectations of me. When we met, he'd Googled me like he'd Googled everyone else and he'd seen my pictures and stuff, but he didn't have a clue about any TV shows, he didn't know anything. So I didn't ever feel like I had to explain anything to him. It was just brand new for both of us, which was lovely."
The duo have a reality show together called Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens, but one thing you shouldn't expect them to do is compete on Celebrity Gladiators.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
